Featured Cute little folding wood and metal tables - camping? Who made them?

    I picked up two of these tables at a local thrift. They are are about the size and height of a TV table, but I think they are for camping. There are no marks or labels. The folding legs are attached to each other by a big rivet, the tops are stamped steel.

    Does anyone recognize them?

    I love these, they are so camper van stop, gingham cloth, marmalade sandwich :)

    My dad made lots of like items when we were camping late 50's early 60's. I'm sure he didn't make those- but he would bend metal, drill wood, and come up with all sorts of things. Folding camp chairs with heavy canvas tops, and even a cooler! That darn thing was SO tomfoolery heavy that it took two men and a truck to lift it EMPTY! He mounted it permanently on the fork of the trailer hitch! Good thing too! And of all things - my uncle who "didn't camp" also made one. Eventually we ended up with both of the darn things! I'm sure where ever they may be at this point - if they were cared for... they are still functional!
