Featured Czech Egyptian Revival Art Deco Isis brooch

When I bought this lovely, I found a somewhat similar one attributed to Neiger. I thought it was wishful thinking on the part of the seller, and of course I can't find the listing now.
Just a nameless Czech maker? I don't expect it to be Neiger, just want to make sure.

Some enamel loss, mostly on the Isis figure. Very slight rubbing of the silvertone layer, and brass shows on the hook clasp.
Diameter: 55mm.

Lovely. It does have the saw tooth bezels that the Neiger peeps are always rattling on about. There is a dedicated Neiger FB page. If you want to remain incognito I’d be happy to post your photo and see what they say.

It came with a very nice Bohemian garnet cross.

And her sloppy enamel, looks a bit like the first time I ever tried to put nailpolish on.

 

Thanks charlie. The colours reminded me of Berber jewellery, which could have been the inspiration. Like this Kabyle Berber pendant from Algeria:

 

If I'd seen that I'd have pounced so fast.... nice! I wouldn't mess with the enamel, especially if it's Neiger; it looks good the way it is. (and at almost 100 years old no matter whodunnit, you'll be missing a little enamel too.)

 

Yours has soooo much style to it, and not in an overly feminine way either which I really like

 

Don't worry, I won't. It isn't damage like chipping, it is natural wear and part of its authenticity.

I would be missing more than that. I lost my marbles long ago.
