    Hi,
I picked up a pair of 12"H glass vases with the Made in Czechoslovakia mark and trying to see if anyone would know who the maker was. I love the little glass feet.
I can't get the colour correct in the photo, they are more orange than shown.
    Any information appreciated!
    Thanks for looking.

    CX,

That is a pretty generic mark. Not really sure you can pin down a maker on these.

Just to be sure, I am running this by a buddy of mine.

I just messaged Craig (Kralik-Glass.com) and this is what he had to say

Yes the mark is quite generic and not linked to any known company. Commonly referred to by many collectors, especially pottery, as a "dime" mark. The vases are likely by a glass house and then decorated by a refiner. Pretty impossible at this point to identify most of this stuff like this.

    Very pretty, CX!

And, as DesperateFun has advised, it's pretty much anyone's guess who actually did the work...

(Sort of like the Czech pottery I asked about here:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/czech-pottery.12682/#post-180005 )

I've often wondered what influence the political climate in Czechoslovakia had on "individualism" in the arts over the years.
