Dagger from....?

    Please go back and change your pics from "Thumbnail" to "Full Image" - easier to see details that way - thanks - Oh, and if the blade has any identifying marks or names on it.

    The shape is very old - goes back to bronze and iron age. Doesn't mean that yours is that old... just sayin. I'd look to North Africa or the Mideast.

    Try searching leaf blade dagger. You'll likely have a problem getting past the modern fantasy stuff.

    Most of the artwork I have is African in nature. The items I am trying to identify never found their way into any of the ledgers I have.

    I like that term :D and let it remain a collection.

    Given the choice, from experience, the far bottom left is the best weapon of defence and attack, the others appear pretty useless.

    An extended bayonet thrust into the major organs or throat and / or eyes renders the enemy incapable.
