Damaged Woodcut Print Artist?

I purchased this Print as a cautionary tale ($3). Be aware of acidic paper... Here is a print (I think a Woodblock Print) entitled HOUSE on a very thin paper (perhaps rice paper). It seems that the backing paper ate away at the print. I do not know who the artist is...and the print is probably ruined. I always appreciate any comments. Thanks!

 

yes....poorly framed and poorly looked after............as are so many prints that were bought cheaply....or framed cheaply.......
