Dating a Villeroy&Boch cake Tray

    I picked up this nice tray in mint condition today.
    I researched markings online, but was unable to determine the production period.
    Its size is 16.5x39cm and it has two marks. One is the engraved "EUROPA 1" and the other is hand painted visible in photos.
    Any help appreciated.

    That was the first site I found when I searched today. However, there is no dating for this mark on that site.

    If I were guessing I'd say post-reunification. The overall design has that look too.

    I agree. I'd say that the mark looks vintage rather than antique.

    There are many examples in different shapes of Rusticana Blue on Ebay for comparison. Best of luck.
