Featured Dating antique glass fronted shelves

    Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone can date these glass fronted shelves. They used to belong to my mum's great aunts and possibly my 2nd great-grandmother before this. My mum's just passed them on to me, which is wonderful. I'm going to keep the antique crockery she also passed on to me in them. shelves.jpg

    It looks English - mid to late 1800s.
    Only guessing.

    I agree,mid to late 1800s. What a lovely and useful piece. I assume thats your kitchen,the English always have the most beautiful kitchens ! :)

    Yes, it's my kitchen (you should have seen the pile of unopened mail on the table before I blitzed it prior to putting the shelves up earlier!!)
