Featured Deco? Bracelet

Picked up this sweet bracelet for almost nothing as it’s not hallmarked and seller thought white metal but I thought it might be silver and it does test positive.
What age do you think it is?. It’s well made and looks quality although it needs minor repair as I suspect it’s been caught on a door handle or similar.
No marking other than a C which could be a scratch. I’ve tried to enlarge the photo. Third one down.

Yes you are correct . I knew it was quality but didn’t know why. Such a shame it’s not marked but if it was I probably wouldn’t have it!

 

Is Milllegrain the dimply bit on the silver filigree?

 

Yup, the dimply bit. It may be later, there was a revival of this in the 50s.

I think that is a mark, it looks like it is a part circle with something inside. Right now that something looks like a frolicking foal.

I always take a good look at any bracelet with a safety chain. Can be the sign of a better piece.

I go into boxes at car boot sales that no one else dares to look in!. Often treasures at the bottom.....as well as broken glass, nails, rat poo etc. It’s not glamorous I promise!

 

I hope you take gloves. I went to an "estate sale" this past weekend, just saw a sign up, had to leave immediately. The entire house was carpeted, and every inch of carpeting had to be saturated in cat pee. I have cats myself- this was a shame.

It appeared to be an elderly person's home, looked to be a woman. The children, who are not far from my age, were holding it. She probably lived alone and needed help, more than she was getting. I wouldn't have touched anything in the home- my experience is pet smells permeate too many things. Yes, poor cats, but I am sure they loved her and she loved them back.
