    Charlie,
    I still have a pair of police issue ceremonial white gloves which I had to wear in full uniform whilst guarding Diana when she visited my city in the early 80's

    I had my back to her most of the time watching the crowds.

    She backed into me whilst accepting a posy.
    My gloves and her backside collided.

    I'm sure they still have her DNA on them, they are wrapped and sealed in my attic.

    I know we should not offer things for sale on here :eek:

    Yours, for say 2 million quid if you are interested, I am open to offers :D

    My first impression was Scrawny.

    An anti monarchist in the crowd shouted "Stick Legs"

    It was hard not to disagree with him, although she appeared a nice person.

    I've just recalled I gave a woman in the crowd my Olympus Trip S35mm camera and told her to take as many shots as she could (36)
    I have some hard copies somewhere.

    God she looked so damn young ! What a tragic tale-in those later interviews she got pretty good at sticking & twistin' the old knife.After that tragic wreck she was almost canonized,strange bit of history that.

    My partner in crime at the time was used as a body double for her.

    We worked in the vice squad together, she was very similar looking with the same hairstyle but more athletic.

    We had to do security practise runs days before her visit (IRA Days)

    She was bought lots of her similar clothing to wear.

    I'll have to contact her and see if she still has it, she retired to Spain

    one thing ill never forget about her death, was a fleeting shot of a middle aged man crying Inconsolably outside the gates on a news report

    still get chills thinking about it

    I see the clock change has affected you too.
    One minute I was drinking Whisky and it was 1am, then it changed to 2am and now its 4.30am :D

    After a devout & well meaning neighbor pressed me into going to mass with her, was very surprised on the way out that a) the church had a gift shop and b) one of the things for sale was a wall calendar, already a few years old, with photos of Diana.
