    I have no idea how he could have thought the dark-haired boy bore any resemblance to fair-haired Jesse James, other than having two eyes, a nose, and a mouth.:jawdrop: Not only the hair colour, but the facial features are very different too.

    They never have been, their primary function is marketing, finding a buyer. This is the way it is at all auction houses, they simply don't have the time to do the research required on most objects.
