    Yes share certificates, I doubt they are of much value, probably surrendered years ago.

    there are collectors for these, but rather for clean examples of "exotic" companies like breweries or as historical proofs of businesses in the colonies like canals, railroads etc..
    most are 1 to 5 €.

    JMHO.
    I'd offer them Europe-wide as lot on ebay. clear pics a must. e.g. "compania minera de montoro" could be interesting for English collectors because many mining companies in Northern Spain were in English hands - well hidden of course. :rolleyes:

    Collecting stock certificates is called scripophily, so that's a word you might want to consider for searching or selling.
