Diving Mayan Sculpture?

    The self-standing figure is about 14 inches tall.

    Is this a diving Mayan sculpture? That's what the tag said on this at the antique mall I bought it from. Anyone know any more about it?

    It might be Mayan but I am not sure it's pre-Columbian. Looks newish to me

    It isn't Maya. Not sure she is diving either, she is just leaning forward imo.
    It is probably pre-Columbian inspired, it looks like a mix of Mexican west coast and Veracruz culture to me.
