    IMG_2372.JPG unnamed.jpg It is impossible for me to see its mark, I've tried with all my magnifying glasses, all I can see is 925, but there are 2 other markings that I can't figure it out. The "stones" tests as iolite/tourmaline.. and the whole necklace has an Italian vibe for me, but it might be just a wrong impression.. thank you for any help ! :) View attachment 193899 View attachment 193898

    Can you try some more photos of the marks? I definitely see a Star.

    The second image (with marks) in your first post is almost readable! You posted another?

    Neat looking thing!

    I think it's still too blurry to read...

    I think European. Does one of the marks look like a set of scales maybe?

    May not be helpful but the form is called a "torc", sometimes "torq". I would not be surprised if one of the marks wasn't 14k or 18k, and maybe an Italian goldsmith's mark. It looks like a piece by Alexis Bittar, but she doesn't usually work in precious metls and rarely in "good" stones.

    It wouldn't have the scales if it is Italian. Italy isn't a member of the International Convention of Hallmarks. Yet.

    I don't know anything about this necklace, but just wanted to add that Alexis Bittar is a man.

    That is the better picture.. unfortunately, the markings are really small.

    I thought I was seeing something like 2 grid earth icons next to each other.. maybe it is a scale..

    New word for my searches, good to know !

    Thank you, everybody ! :happy::happy::happy:

    Try taking a picture thru a magnifier and immobilizing your camera.

    Seems like the mark is well impressed, just not in focus. The image is great.

    By the way, contrary to pop-culture's insistence that all ancient Celtic jewelry featured weird and scary animal heads, the roundels such as on this piece were much more common. I would say this is definitely Celtic inspired - possibly mid- to northern Europe by design and inspiration (not by age, obviously).
