Do you know a potter named S. Perkins or how to tell valuable heads like these from others.

I am listing this for my brother who thought he saw a head like this on antiques roadshow but cannot find it. Neither can I. Could be a recent kid's project as to me and him as it is hard to tell why some are worth something. Any ideas of an S. Perkins? I've instagrammed a Scott Perkins but really it doesn't look like his work to me. Oh, he is listing things he has had for years, mostly from garage sales and really doesn't remember. Thank you.
