Do you recognize the mark on this turquoise coffee/tea pot?

    I picked this up at the thrift yesterday - mostly because the mark looked like Arabic to me.
    When I got it home I realized that this probably isn't the right lid, and that perhaps the signature is really a well know one that I just don't recognize. Or maybe I'm looking at it upside down?

    Bookahtoo, are you saying that because the lid doesn't fit(?) or because of the variation(s) in color of the lid? I think the variations in the colors of the lid actually add to the "coffee/teapot." ;)

    I think the lid's right, too. I don't read much Arabic, sorry - can't make that out.

    I think the color's right for the pot. It slides around quite a bit though.

    Pretty color . I don't think its so unusual the lids a tad loose , Ive seen that quite a few times , even in manufactured pottery . Who knows why .
