Does anybody know anything about this clown face coors bottle and if it’s worth anything

    It's a 1976 Bi-Centennial bottle. Modest sold prices on eBay. One sold for $34 USD, another one less than that.

    Do you know if there's a story about why it's a clown? Or is it not a clown?

    Just seems odd for the bicentennial... when every darn thing was stars and stripes and the rocket's red glare. :D

    You're not kidding, Jivs. Supposedly, it was an attempt at humor by the hands of the glass mold shop and the bottles were not meant to be distributed. Some of them escaped.

    Evidently, the market is kind of soft for such a (scarce) thing.

    It is a clown. One of the Mold Repair guys at the Coors Glass Plant thought it would be funny to make. None of the bottles ever contained beer. They were made and given to the Glass Plant employees. the Bi-Centennial has nothing to do with it. Simply a coincidence.
