    Thanks, Komo!
This is a hand maid item ( 1st photo), 1st grade, the maker is Gzhel elektro, Gzhel is a folk ethnic crafts chain of workshops or factories located near Moscow in and around the village of Gzhel, and also the style is called Gzhel. The red triangle with 1C is the grade mark. The oval cartouche inside says Gzhel elektro, and above it is inscribed "hand made". In blue it is written the Cyrillic letter "I' - И.
On the second photo only the Cyrillic letter CH - Ч is written in blue. Maybe these are the initials of the person's who made the items.
    Info about Gzhel in English

"Gzhel elektro'" inscription means that the item was made in a factory which specialises in porcelain items, used as insulators in the electrical grid. But apparently they made also household porcelain.

Edit, this plant started making household porcelain after 1984 ( it is discussed in a Russian forum where catalogue entries and other evidence are presented) So it can be dated from 1984 till now. After 1991 the items made for export, have been marked also in Latin. This means that this item under question was either for the Russian market only, or it was made in the period 1984-1991.

Thank you to the both of you. It might be modern 1984-1991, but I think the faces of the Matrioshka are lovely. I shall make a bid for them.

Brian, you are welcome! I didn't mean that the items were not worthy, they are indeed lovely. Just wanted to be as precise as possible with dating it.
    Wish you lucky bidding!

I didn't take it any other way. Anyway, I did get it unopposed. I will give it to my daughter for her birthday.

In 1971 when I was in Moscow for a month brought back a 20something version in would for my daughter (the other one, not this one who wasn't even in twinkle in my eyes), needless to say it is now one less, as she chewed the other on to pulp.

Brian, congratulations for the purchase, IMO, it will indeed make a good present for your daughter.
I used to have a set of wooden Matryoshkas which somehow disappeared from my mom's place, so I bought another one from a flee market. Not complete unfortunately but still a replacement.
Until recently Matryoshkas were often found here (I live in Bulgaria) now I don't see them anymore.
And this is the first time I see porcelain ones. They cannot be chewed but can be easily broken. But I am sure your daughter will take good care of them.
