Does anyone have any info on this USSR trinket box piece?

    Wondering if this might be an antique/vintage or just a new piece from recent years? I know nothing about it. Thank you in advance

    The USSR was dissolved in 1991.

    This looks relatively new to me. The label is in English, so it was made for export. As Debora said, the USSR ceased to exist in 1991. I think this was from the later years of the USSR, based on label style, condition of the piece, and history of their relations with the English-speaking countries of the world.
