Does anyone know what this is?

    Hello,

    I found this at Salvation Army and would like to find another one for my classroom. I have had no luck searching the internet. I'm not sure what it was originally intended for, once I know that may help my search.

    I agree with SBSVC that it's much more useful as a file or other paper (like booklets, brochures, etc.) organizer than a knife box.

    Does your friend's find look similar to yours inside? It has such a different outer construction I'm not sure.

    I have one I would sell. It looks like the one with the rings to open and it’s for letters and has same drawer. I am not familiar with selling on this site so I guess just message me and I will send you pics. I have to say I think it’s supposed to look old but I don’t think it is. Niece. Piece tho.
