I found this at the thrift store Saturday and I’m trying to determine where it was made. It’s thin but very heavy wool and is made of three 2’ wide strips sewn together. It measure 11’ long by 6’ wide, I had bring over to my dads to put on the ground and go up on his deck to get a full shot of it. It was suggested by another picker that it may be from the Balkans. I have no idea. Sorry I didn’t take more detailed photos it’s really windy out there.

I can't comment on its origin, but based on the detail photo it should not be described as a kilim. A kilim is woven in a method similar to tapestry, with distinctive slits left between blocks of color. Your textile appears to be a twill woven fabric, produced on a loom with 3 or more harnesses.

    Thank you for clarifying that!
