Does Anyone Recognize This Rug ?

    I have searched till I am blue in the face an can not find one similar to it. But maybe I am using the wrong key words in my search but I have tried everything I could think of.
    All I know is that it is very old well at least that is what the lady said, she said her mother had back on the homestead. She had it hanging on her wall. An the lady I got it from was 75. We bought out her estate because she was way downsizing since her husband passed. TIA

    Yes, it's Mexican. That particular bird design is characteristic of popular rugs from the Altiplano, or Central Mexican Plateau region.
