Dog-On Gas Clock - Fantasy piece or the real deal?

We believe this to be real, but since there is so little information about this company, it is hard to verify. There are other fantasy pieces for this company out there, but no antique clocks. You would think there would be others like it. What do you all think?

When most or all the "Dog-on Good Gasoline" items are modern, who wouldn't be a bit skeptical?
