double tier basket

Does anyone know what kind of basket thing this is and when where who etc. ?

It is a two tier fruit and veg basket for in the kitchen. It could have been made anywhere in East or Southeast Asia, my guess is the Philippines.

I don't know, they are probably still being made.

 

The age on these is difficult, my guess would be the 1950's or 60's! That said, it could be older. I picked up a rattan table years ago from a yard sale and the lady told me it was over 50 years old, that was over 15 years ago. I sold it quickly for double what I paid!
