    Hi,
I've never come across one of these before. I'm curious if these were made for tourists or the locals. Do you think it's quite old? Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the base. It stands 17cm with circumference of appro. 12cm.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as always.
    Many thanks in advance ☺️ Screenshot_20221208_203630_Chrome.jpg Screenshot_20221208_203701_Chrome.jpg

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I love the design! Maybe now that I've bumped up your message, somebody will be able to give you some information.

Yes, hard to tell if it's studio pottery or factory made.

It doesn’t look very old to me but that’s just a guess. It’s a neat piece though. I think there is a common name for this style of Chinese teapot that I can’t recall at the moment. If you google Yizxing Zisha teapot you should see similar type things though that may lead you in the right direction. I see these small red ware Chinese pots show up at auction relatively frequently but can’t really the term used to save my life right now. They don’t typically go for real big money (the ones I see) but definitely have some value.
