Dresden China (Ohio) Name that dog and age please

    Got this at a yard sale for 1.00 this morning. it measures 6 1/2"
    Can't guess the breed.
    was also guessing 1910 to 1920?

    Def not an american bulldog. Maybe pug or similar type.
    See example on your left lol. Thanks for finding that one.
    he has the wrong Dresden in his listing and
    wow 9.00 for a cracked plate

    I would say its a Pug.

    It may not look like a modern day Pug.

    Many breeds have changed features over the last 100 years

    Everyone has it listed differently. Ruby Lane has it listed as a saint Bernard. Ha ha.

    My first guess was Shar Pei, but they have blue-black tongues.

    My best guess is "The Artist's Dog." :bucktooth::p
