This little tray measures 7" long, 1 1/2" tall has 3 feet on the bottom. The back side is taller and has 3 holes. What is it? Marked Dresden, Richard Klemm Dresden Saxony Germany 1866-1916.

Possibly part of a desk set to hold pens. Just a guess

I wondered if it were a nib rest.

Richard Klemm may be the maker.

Could be a nib rest. I put 1 in and it does fit with room to move.
