I am trying to find out the value of a dresser that was damaged by a contractor. It was a large 3 drawer with a mirror manufactured by Cox & Waggoner. I am not able to find any information on the internet.

Horrible picture as we had a flood and everything was moved. The mirror was not attached

As an ex-general contractor, if you are looking for an insurance value, I would randomly select a hundred bucks. If you must "prove" your dresser has this value, find 2-3 photographs of similar dresser for sale and use those to prove your case.

While I can feel your pain, brown furniture is no longer popular and not worth much these days.

I'd go with Antidiem's advice. If you believe the value should be higher, follow that procedure, only with $200 instead.

Think you should be able to find an adequate replacement of similar age for around $200.00 without much difficulty.
