Featured Dressers info appreciated

Found a bedroom set, bed not pictured. Two dressers, tall and short and the bed same maple look. At least 1950s, but I was told turn of 20th from eastern europe.

 

Personally, I think finding that particular style of drawer pull might narrow the search a bit. I don't believe I have ever seen that exact style. Maybe?

 

Not turn of the century. Probably no earlier than the 40s. If from Eastern Europe, I doubt you will find anything about it. What is the back-story on this provenance?

 

I am seeing wooden peg construction? What does the drawer construction look like?

Because the pull profile does not stick out from the drawer face very far, and I have 20 years of arthritic fingers experience.

 

So that is the interesting part of the pulls. the look and feel carved and then put in place with wooden pegs, very stylish, not the most ergonomic

 

Yes, a very distinctive style. Alas, I don't recognize them.

 

I have arthritic fingers too and was hoping one could push on the center button of handles and "Open Sesame".

 

I could add springs! The background is that this was a bedroom set for a very classy lady who needed something more functional, I got it from her kids, I love the oval handles but I know that is what made it so incovenient.
