Drexel Vintage Writing Desk

I am curious if anyone can help me identify the collection this writing desk is from. It is very similar to the Triune Collection but only has three drawers with built in filing in the right drawer.

The stamp underneath states 7050-6 Campagxa (or Campagna) 8-56

 

I can't help you on what Collection, but looks like one of Drexel campaign desk. That "Campagxa" or whatever stamped on the bottom is probably Campaign. Here are a couple of examples:

Thanks! I found those, but they weren't an exact match, the first one you mentioned is from the Triune Collection. Its driving me nuts because it is clearly not that desk. I may contact Drexel tomorrow and see if they can help me.

I also have this desk and a swivel stool. I found your post by the stamped info. I have a dresser with mirror and night stand to match. I would like to find out the year they were made. Any info anyone ?

 

A 5 year old thread is often a poor source for the most current info. How about posting pictures of your desk and stool?

 

Campagna was an "Italian style" collection Drexel launched in the 50's but produced into the 60's. There should be a date stenciled on the back or underside. For example, the "8-56" on the OP's desk is the month and year produced.
