Dugan Glass?

Hi

I need help with this 4" hat vase. I don't know who is the maker or pattern. Searching online I found a similar one from Dugan Glass but without the lattice design in the band. The glass color looks like amber but in the light it looks like a pale amethyst so I'm confused with the color too.

It is very similar to Northwood's Lustre Flute - but not a match.

Wonder if it is later Depression Era glass rather than early carnival.
Try Imperial.

 

While I'm aware of N'wood and Dugan and thier wares, my interest pretty well dies off about 1900. To identify the piece above, the decorative band, not the tooled shape will be the determinant.

In my search I found that Dugan/Diamond produced a very similar vase called Violet Basket. These baskets were made two ways... either with a glass handle or it was inserted into a metal handle or holder. I can't tell if your basket ever had a handle, @Zephyr . Can you tell?

 

Everything looks very smooth without marks. Maybe my piece is an insert for a metal holder.
