Sorry, cleaning out the house, and I will be posting a lot. I have these two antique desks, I believe they are a writing desk and lady's desk. Any ideas you might have any as to what they might be, from where and any estimated date. Thank you all in advance.
There's always a need in our house for a desk or two; they are still used for "desky" purposes. You might want to refinish he older of the two. The top one's finish seems OK as-is.
I don't think either of these really need refinishing. Some sprucing with Howards restor-a-finish or similar product should do wonders.
Okay, so I started today and this is the second desk using restor-a-finish and then Howard's wax. Lmk what you think, I have been working on it for too long to see a difference.
