Dutch painter

    P1000907 (Small).JPG P1000904.JPG View attachment 108788 P1000904.JPG A new buy this week and looking for more works and some history about this painter . Looks to me from around the 1900 but could be wrong off course

    To me it looks boon but the L could be a other letter maybe ?

    Looks like L Boon to me too. The only L Boon I know is actually L.P. Boon, Louis Paul Boon, no doubt familiar to Kristiaan.;)
    Painters don't usually put their place of residence on a painting. Since I don't think he wants us to believe the scene is in Amsterdam, my guess is he is a sunday painter you may never find.:sorry:
