    This is the item I bid on a few weeks ago, (with everyone’s help)

    Some marks are
    Lion with a number 2,
    Letter P,
    Capital R with 10 over it,
    Woman’s head left facing

    I’ve done as well as I can with photos, but can try some more if needed.

    Any information is appreciated.

    So it has arrived safely, congratulations.:happy: And congratulations on the purchase, it is a beauty.
    Lion with a number 2 is .833 silver.
    Letter P looks like the year mark for 1899.
    Capital R with 10 over it is the maker's mark, which I have not been able to find yet.
    Woman’s head left facing is the Minerva head mark, there should be a letter in her helmet. You will probably see it when you have given it a bit of a clean.

    * Just edited the year mark.

    Nice scent-box! Believe the date mark is 1874, the maker was S.T. (Steven Tjittes) Reitsma, Jr., working in Sneek and Heerenveen from 1859-92...

    It will be a big help to have the name, as the mark was getting me nowhere, with only the Internet.
