Small pins on card. Makers mark is Walcott Mfg Co. Military? I was surprised that I couldn't find anything similar. Maybe I missed something.

Maybe patriotic / sweetheart pins or brooches

I have a hunch those chevrons are key to understanding your pins, Kronos...good luck!

Maybe a forerunner of today's ubiquitous US flag lapel pin?

Something like that. They're not military issue, not with a C clasp. They'd fall off in combat. They may have been used for a fundraiser.

These were never intended to be worn in combat, Evely.

Found a couple labeled as WWI American Expeditionary Forces 18 Months Overseas Pin. Only one "source" so far, but it seems like it might be correct.

I saw a source say the firm was in business 1906-1922. They made some higher end jewelry in addition to this lower end production.

A chevron for each 6-month deployment, perhaps?

Three chevrons is the rank insignia of a sergeant. But I don't think that's what they signify here.

Some class “A” uniform pins are not meant for combat/deployment to be worn only on“Class A” uniforms. Could it possibly be for that?

These are displayed on a retail card. Unlikely they were designed for military usage. Especially with the exhortation "Wear One." That would be unnecessary in the military.

Think this is it. Worn by the general public to encourage enlistment in World War I. "Do Your Duty" was a campaign line. (That would explain the generic military imagery.)
