So this is supposed to be a late 1880's EAPG plate that is signed. There appears to be a warrior killing a lion in the middle with a satin finish. The outside has clear glass petals with alternating designs. The signature looks like "P J Jacoe . .". It is 11 1/4 inches in diameter. It looks like it was used as there are scratches across the surface. Is this a real EAPG plate? Any help appreciated.

George Nesmith would have loved seeing that. He was a great collector of Gillinder.

I didn't know he was a collector of Gillinder. So sad he's no longer with us to enjoy and participate in this discussion. I liked him very much. Thanks for sharing this.

Is it worthy of “The Howard Miller” cabinet? :)
