Hello, any ideas how old this plate could be?
The guy I bought it from said it's German Biedermeier

This was posted in Dec 2024, maybe the dealer has some info to share.

I don't know who made your plate but I did give a look for the mark.

Your mark looks to me like F.F over B (or perhaps 8) and I couldn't find a mark like that. I did find FF over D from Dallwitz (Bohemia) so perhaps that's what the seller was thinking it was. The site below has a long history of the factory.

The other plate above has some initials on the back also but I can't get a good idea what they are. That seller started with maybe French and added English and Dutch as possibilities without knowing.

    Used between 1850 and 1855, impressed "F.F." above "D.".

(best I could do to bring the impressions out, maybe someone else can do better)

The seller said: "My guess is that this is 19th century French, decorated with hand-painted grapes and figs, though it's got a particular sort of folkiness about it that feels a bit more English or Dutch to me."
