Hi all, any idea what this would be? I would think rather common, but nice features.
    Any ideas most welcome. Thanks

It is Burmese. It is called 'thabeik'. No specific purpose.

I only do IDs, if I can. But I'm sure google knows.;)
    Late 19th-early 20th century.
A thabeik is originally a monk's begging bowl, but these are purely ornamental, mostly made for British colonials.
    A bargain!

I would look for a 'sunshine' cloth. It works wonders and doesn't leave ugly polish residue in the crevices.
