Hello all! My first proper batch of vintage jewelry arrived today (more to come in the next few weeks) and I'm excited to learn more as my knowledge is limited. I didn't include broken or more junky stuff. Here is what I see:

    1. Marked "sterling Germany", older, bad shape
    2. No markings, aurora borealis
    3. No markings, rhinestones
    4. No markings, lots of rhinestones
    5. Only marked "L" and "R"- left and right?, rhinestones
    6. More rhinestone, no marks
    7. No mark, ceramic?
    8. No mark, etched
    9. I think I can see 'Si' which may read 'Silver', what are these?
    10. Marked 925, anklet?
    11. Marked Sarah something (Coventry?)
    12. Marked Monet, not great shape
    13. Mark hard to read, Gerry's?!
    14. No mark, odd black scratch on main pink stone near prong

I would appreciate it if you could tell me anything else eg. age etc. There are ALOT of rhinestones! Apologies for the photo dump. Not a bad first bag, looking forward to the next one :)

    I think #9 is Swank.
They are mesh wrap around cuff links.

I know very little about jewelry but wanted to complement you on the way you organized and numbered everything so precisely with great photos on a plain white background. Kudos to you!

Yes, photo display is perfect. :)

I was going to write that #1 and #11 look like sterling, but noticed your description, which states this. Great! #1 is the most interesting piece to me. Probably early part of the the 20th century, and carnelian. You mentioned damage. What is damaged about it?

The rest seem to be vintage costume, nice bracelet or ankle 925 bracelet. And yes likely "Sarah Coventry" on 11.

Ha thanks a lot! I did take some time to do it I have to say, but I think it's worth it to get a better look at the pieces :cat:

Thank you! Yes #1 definitely the most interesting. It is very twisted- I fixed it up a little to what it was like when it first arrived, but still not great!

#7 is very typical of German costume made in the 1940s and 50s

8 is indeed Damascene, from Toledo, 1960s ish.

4 might be Beaujewels from that back.

The pin looks like the stone is rhodochrosite. Not a valuable stone, but naturally pink. Pretty stuff.

Not a carnelian you think as suggested by @Lucille.b ?

What @wiscbirddog said: Those are wonderful pics and the number system was great ... Now if I could only learn to use Photoshop / Paint etc without taking 1-1/2 hours I would be happy
