Some lady was looking at this dress for a few minutes the other day at thrift store, I stayed close by just in case she didn't get it, she walked away and I grabbed it.
I seen something similar a few years ago online saying it was Edwardian.
Not sure about it being Edwardian though, the lower material almost feels like sturdy polyester, but I could be wrong. No makers tags, all hand made with glass beads etc.

Any ideas on this dress anybody ?

    Thank You

I wonder if it may have been made for a play perhaps.

Made for a play ? The top material looks Edwardian with the bead work, though the bottom feels like polyester or something.

If the bottom is polyester or similar it can't be antique. You will have to Google and see when polyester started being used as a fabric to get an idea the earliest it could be.

Looks like a 1930s evening dress to me. The type of design a matron would wear. Slight blouson bodice such seen on Eleanor Roosevelt below. "Lower material" would be acetate, as commonly used in era.

Seconded. Actate, rayon or something like it.
