Edwardian scene painting - No signature

    Yes, it is decorative art. Of the Rainy Day in Paris Street Scene school. I suspect it's meant to be the Rue Royale with the Madeleine Church on the right. A popular subject. (Another is below.) These were popular in the 1950s/1960s so may be a bit older than thought.

    A lot of them are done in a surrealist style to hide the fact that the artists are of great quality. I like the fact that there is a fair bit of ability here. I thought may e that the background was printed and then paint splodged on top but you can see faint brush Mark's on the faces so maybe it's all real.
