Featured Eickholt paperweight, what do I call this effect?

    Signed Eickholt, there are plenty of paperweights out there from this maker.

    Can anyone give me a keyword or two -- especially to describe the effect in the glass shown in the 3rd photo? In the clear section of the weight there is some kind of material added hat sort of catches the light with iridescence.
