    Hi eyeryone
a strange vase not to say the least. Has no markings but was hoping that someone in the wild west would have seen another.
    21cm high
    Many thanks IMG_20200922_143007.jpg IMG_20200922_143012.jpg IMG_20200922_143019.jpg IMG_20200922_143026.jpg IMG_20200922_143034.jpg IMG_20200922_143100.jpg

Your best identifier - is that a label on the back? Take a closer photo of it in the light, someone here may recognize it.

Otherwise, I don't know. There is a hairline crack running down from the mouth of the vase.

thanks for looking. i look in a different light and rubbed with base with face oil and yes it shows up a mark...searched but found zero.
There is no crack to the vase....i have looked with a magnifier...so perhaps it is that light thing again what you are seeing. IMG_20200922_162138.jpg

yah, it could be a spider web or dirt.

Still cannot make out the label, too blurry.
Does anyone know if that is an Alamo Pottery mark in the bottom of the blue?

Thanks, I don't know what the smudge is, thought it was an old label, thanks for the extra photos. I believe this to be a private studio pottery piece. Looks to be made very competently, after seeing more of the bottom - yes MCM, agreed. The age looks right on the bottom for that time period.

I'd be looking at Belgium or West Germany.
