I was out running some errands this morning and I stopped into the thrift shop that supports our Christian Reformed Schools. I picked up this painting for $14, it looked like it was pretty well done. I quick googled the name and saw a few things, but I didn't have time to read the results. I decided to post it and see what turned up. I was wondering if the last name was Dutch? Looks like it dates to the 60's or 70's. Any help will be appreciated, as always. It looks like the work of a talented amateur. Certainly worth $14

It does. And identifying location adds to resale value (if that's your intention.)

She lived in Manitou Springs, maybe Pikes Peak?

    Mark,
Good call, she was self taught. She exhibited a few times, looks like locally where she lived in Colorado.
