IMG_5752.jpeg IMG_5751.jpeg Has anyone heard of a German(?) manufacturer called Elma götting-Mahr? I found this small, slip decorated creamer in a thrift store, but I can't find any information on the manufacturer. The only information I can find is a vase on German Ebay that is a very different style, but has the same sticker. I search on a few of the resources linked in this forum, but I don't see anything.

Below is the link and here's the translation of their description:
    "Vase 70s
Rare vase from Elma Götting-Mahr, Kunstgewerbe e. K., from Münster. The company existed from 1975 to 1989.
    Diameter 10cm, height 22.5cm."

Given that it is a paper label and the link you provide shows an entirely different style of pot and incised mark it may well be that this is the retailer/importer/wholesaler rather than the manufacturer.

e.K. is "eingetragener Kaufmann" - or today Kauffrau - which is a legal form for a single merchant that is registered in the local merchant's register. most probably a single person that dealt with items of local artists; possibly not limited to ceramics.
it's not the name of the artist that has done the creamer, so no wonder that the style is "erratic".

if Elma had a gallery as well is anybody's guess. I didn't see anything in that direction.
