    I have embossed a symbol on the bottom of a clear jar. Dimensions are
    about 2 1/2" top dia. x 2 1/2" bottom dia. x 6 3/4" tall. The jar held 3 cups
    of water up to the brim. Is the symbol an I encircled by an oval for Owens
    Illinois Glass Co.? Thank you for the assistance in this request. Rob

    Pretty sure that held instant coffee. WAY back when a lot of things in grocery stores were in glass.

    @johnnycb09 is right.... Sanka!

    Well I'm durned glad it's a clean TangoSanka jar cause if it was Egyptian,you would've spoilt it's patina.Checkout the vintage Tang Labels-I think one actually said-'The Astronauts Drink' maybe-but then again I am pretty old,so who knows ?

    Does have that 60's 'Hi-Fi' design vibe to me.
