Featured Emerald Glass..Dish..Ashtray..or something else..

    Hi- This has been in my family for over 45 years.I have 2 and always thought they were ashtrays but now im thinking maybe not so.And just wondered if anyone had any idea what they are? who made them?And which is the correct way up?Are incredibly heavy.Many thanks.

    What are the measurement of the inside & the whole piece?

    Will it accommodate a standard style taper candle?

    How about a piano insulator, to keep the piano's feed from digging into the floor.

    Thank you so much..It absolutely is a Piano Insulator.Would never have figured that out.Really pleased to finally know what they are.
