Cannot find a mark on this but almost certain the edges are silver. Does anyone recognize the building? The style? Bowl is 6" diameter, plate is 7 1/2". Thanks for any help! enamels.jpg enamels1.jpg enamels2.jpg

They were made in Isfahan, Persia/Iran. It is the same work as the kashkul inh found, but these are not kashkul. This enamel work is still being made.

The building looks like the Ali Qapu Palace on the beautiful Naqsh-e-Jahan Square in Isfahan. The building on the right:

About the kashkul, it is an oval beggar's bowl, used by dervishes. The elegant shape became very popular and is now mainly used for Iranian and Kashmiri home decoration.

It certainly is. Good quality Isfahan souvenir enamelwork is generally later, rather than earlier. They make some stunning pieces now.
