Enamel ware nesting bowls

    This is not a good picture but wanted to get an idea of age and what you would called this bumpy texture on this enamel ware bowl. I found a set of 7 nesting bowls this color and pattern at thrift for $4.99. They are unmarked. Also, any tips on how one would date unmarked enamel ware and identify where made? Thanks

    From the pictures I get a modern made in China sort of look. The stainless steel band at the top is what I am going off of.

    No problem. As far as dating an item... we have quite a few reference guides and they aren't even in total agreement. There are a lot more "fakes" out there according to some of my references.
