I bought this beaded necklace yesterday. Not 100% sure they're glass, but the beads are made of bits and are quite cold to the touch. Thought they might be "end of day" glass beads or ???? Any other ideas??

Poked around the internet and I think they are dyed Magnesite or Howlite, but get better hits using keyword Mosaic Magnesite.

It looks like they can be dyed in any color under the sun. They come out magnificently pretty, what ever color they are dyed. People are so clever and inventive.:joyful:
