Usually the England mark denotes a date of between 1891 and 1921

It appears to be Dresden Porcelain Co, Blythe Works, Longton, Staffordshire, printed mark for 1896-1903.

    Hmmmmm.

Not sure how to phrase this politely.

Would have expected some response from OP, not that the 20 minutes of time it took me to find the answer to OP's query is that important.

    Just saying.

I'll be a little less polite...

If you're doing this for a Thank You....you're doing it wrong.:meh:
& you're not the 1st person to complain...( comment on..) new members lack of response.:(
Some never comment.....some visit the site less frequent than us...and some never show their face again.
Many others though, do comment, do say thank you , & do return...but not always in the time frame you would wish they would.:shifty:

My advice......not asked for , but given freely......be patient....you may yet get your thank you.....& if not.....know that the research you've put your time into helps us all. !!;) :)

So.....'Thank You' for your efforts.........from me at least !!:happy::happy:

Thanks guys. Bakers, you were brilliant on the cricket thread!

Just not sure why peeps ask for info and then go quiet.

Komo, suppose I was asking for a pat on the head, you'd think I'd know better!

There is another angle to consider.
We tend to research the things that peek our curiosity and interest us, or we know an inkling about. In so doing we often come across info on other areas that we needed to find or didn't know about.
So I never consider looking info up as necessarily helping the OP, but rather helping myself, either remember, reinforce what I thought I knew, or find new info.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like this thought. Since the OP has not even logged in since asking, it may be that he or she is giving it a while before coming back, not knowing that people here often reply very quickly. Just a guess...

    Hi guys,

Thank you for all your replies. I have been traveling abroad where no internet was available. So a bit sad that i received reactions like that. But i am happy with the results and proud to add them with my other china. Thanks again

Just like to add my thoughts on the Thanks discussion.
I have worked on some Apple forums for years and am now admin on two of them and Super mod on another.
I used to get annoyed when after going to a lot of trouble to help members with their issues no thanks were forthcoming and worse (in my mind) no posts letting us know if our advice solved their problems. (This can help other members with similar issues)
Now after so many years I just let it go over my head, If OP's can't be bothered to come back and let us know how the issue turned out then so be it.
Maybe sometimes there is a genuine reason for them not coming back so I like to think that may be the case.

I have noticed, too, that sometimes people ask the same question on more than one board, get an answer, and forget to go back to post it on the other boards. I fume a little bit after searching for half an hour or so, then finding it's been answered. Sure, the research is good for me, but I could have been working on something else.

There are always going to be those that...." how much is this worth"......then nothing more.......
They may join, they may drop by.....but are not part of this community.
